Six Utility Box "Murals"

 

Last summer I was commissioned to create murals for six utility boxes in the "South Loop" district of the City of Bloomington, MN.

Four of the boxes were vinyl wraps created from high resolution scans of my original paintings on paper.

These are the hand-painted boxes.

This is what the boxes looked like before (with the East Ramp at Mall of America in the background.) I'm so glad I got to participate in this beautification project.

Thanks to City of Bloomington, Creative Bloomington and Excel Energy for commissioning me and Creative Color Studio for their expertise and assistance with the vinyl printing (HIRE THEM!)
