My poster: Joyride, 3 color screen print with hand-painted details.

I am honored to be included in "ArtCrank 2017 MSP" on
July 8th Fulton Beer in Northeast Minneapolis (not the downtown taproom!)

"Our 2017 show marks the 10th anniversary of ARTCRANK. We’re going back through 10 years of Minneapolis shows to pick out a greatest hits album of bike poster art for what we hope will be our biggest and best show ever."

New Fold-A-Note Greeting Cards

Sloth Fold-A-Notes available here.

Remember the Fold-A-Note craze from the late 70s/ early 80s?
Hand-write your letter on one side, fold it up, seal it and add a stamp- no envelope needed.
#SNAILMAILFOREVER!!!

I have created 8 new Fold-A-Note designs...
They come in boxed sets that include four designs- 8 cards, 2 of each car design.

Series #1: Birds, Fish, Bunnies and Garden available here.

Series #2: Dogs, Sloths, Cats & Mice, and Birds & Flowers available here.

One of my original illustrations for the card series- "Sloths."

All of the original painted illustrations are available in my Etsy shop!

I have many new more new greeting card designs (birthday cards, sympathy cards, blank cards, boxed sets, etc.) available via Artists to Watch. They're available as individual cards or Wholesale.

If you like what you see, ask your favorite local shop to stock them!
Artists to Watch is an excellent National company that directly supports Minnesota artists and designers.

Hotbed Benefit Art Auction 2017

Animal Kingdom, 28x40", acrylic on paper

In February I received an email with the subject line, "Charity art event hosted by Sharon Stone"
Exciting, right?!

(You had me at Sharon Stone.)

I made this painting especially for Saturday's annual Hotbed Gala in San Francisco.
Their art auction, curated by The Jealous Curator, will benefit Planet Hope and their mission to provide outreach and educational resources to homeless, abused, and terminally ill children. ♥
The event will be hosted by Sharon Stone and Todrick Hall.

I actually made two paintings so they could choose one for the auction. (I am a people pleaser and a Minnesotan, after all.)
The one on the right is in my Etsy shop. ;0)

Here are some process shots of the painting from my studio. A sketch (I never make sketches?!?), some under-painting (the horse was originally going to be on wheels), and the finished painting. Not shown: when I dropped and ripped it immediately after I finished the painting. (I repaired the tear and nobody will ever notice! SHHHH!)
