My First Mural!

Last October I painted my first large scale mural at the "soon to open" Trapeze Champagne Bar in Uptown Minneapolis...and I have been waiting impatiently for them to open to the public ever since.
My wish finally came true last week.

TRAPEZE is OPEN!!!

My 47' mural! Photo by Emily Cassel.

"The room is small and really reminds me of a bar you'd dip into in a New York neighborhood...The wall mural, by Jennifer Davis, delivers the whimsy. The whole place is a lovely escape from the bro-ing of Uptown." - MsP Magazine

High Ceilings! View of the front door via @TrapezeBubbles Instagram.

They added a wall of smoked mirrors opposite of the mural for double the fun. Shown here with crudite goodness. Photo by Emily Cassel.

I love the painting by Bob Hest in the entrance. Photo by Emily Cassel.

"The pretty, pint-sized space seats just 22, but there's a standing bar and a few stools at the front. A floral mural spans the wall and was painted by Jennnifer Davis, who just completed another piece at Hai Hai in Northeast (though Bartmann tells us this one was actually her first for a restaurant)." - City Pages

ADDED BONUS: My friend Amy and I are currently showing our artwork in the adjacent/attached restaurant next door, Barbette.
Here are some photos from a little arty party we hosted there back in Feb.
